Do you accept Medicare or Medicaid?
No. Elite Wellness is a cash-pay corrective care practice and does not accept Medicare or Medicaid. Our New Patient Experience is $60 and covers two visits, including a full exam and digital X-rays. We'll go over everything, including cost, before you commit to anything.
Do you accept insurance?
We are a cash-pay practice, which means we don't bill insurance for chiropractic care. The reason is simple: insurance typically covers short-term symptom relief, not the type of long-term corrective care we do. We'll give you exact pricing upfront so there are no surprises. The one exception is auto injury cases, where insurance and letters of protection are accepted.
What does the $60 New Patient Experience include?
Two visits, about an hour each.
Visit 1: We sit down and have a real conversation about what's going on. Then you'll get a full structural evaluation with digital X-rays so we can see exactly what's happening in your spine.
Visit 2: Dr. Mikala walks you through your X-rays in detail, explains your care plan, and gives you the cost. If you're a good fit and ready to start, you'll get your first adjustment that same visit. No pressure either way.
How long does a care plan take?
Every plan is different because every spine is different. That's why we take X-rays first. Once we see your specific situation, we'll give you an honest timeline. Most corrective care plans run several months, with progress X-rays along the way so you can see measurable changes, not just "I feel better."
Does the adjustment hurt?
Most patients are surprised by how comfortable it is. The adjustment itself is quick and precise. Before your adjustment, you'll spend time in our recovery room warming up your spine with stretches and traction, which helps your body respond better. Most people say they actually look forward to their visits.
What if I've never been to a chiropractor before?
